What to do this Weekend

What To Do This Weekend 2.18-2.20

Friday, February 18th

The entire Rose-Hulman community comes together to celebrate art, music, and dance in this elite showcase of campus talent. A variety of acts and groups from across campus will perform on the Hatfield Hall stage and show the public that Rose-Hulman has more to offer than a top-quality STEM education. Help us celebrate the grand return of this campus-wide celebration of the arts!

This event is FREE and open to the public.

Engineers in Concert was started in 1981 by Dr. Joan Singer Spicknall and then student David Dvorak as an evening highlighting the talents of Rose-Hulman students, faculty, and staff. The show features all genres of fine performing arts, from classical, jazz, folk, and sacred music to juggling and dance.

Pretty Woman: The Musical Experience the classic movie in a brand-new way as Adam Pascal and Olivia Valli star as Edward Lewis and Vivian Ward. Tony Award-winning director Jerry Mitchell directs and choreographs the incredible performances just as he did in Hairspray, Kinky Boots, and Legally Blonde. The musical features Roy Orbison and Bill Dee’s international hit song, “Oh, Pretty Woman.” The show runs through Sunday, and tickets are $37 and up.

This Must Be It | Pop Up Market  With over 60 vendors selling everything from vintage clothing to handmade goods, you’re sure to find something at this pop-up market. Listen to music, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy a drink at The AMP at 16 Tech throughout the evenings of February 18 and 19. The event is open to all ages, and entry is free.
