Friday: Do you love to eat? Do you like BBQ? Join us for the BBQ Contest on July 16th. Hang out for the day and watch the Full Throttle Monster Trucks take the stage!

Join the VCPRD Friday, July 16th at Hawthorn Park from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for Ice Skating in the Park! We will have a skating rink and $1 train rides courtesy of DIY Rentals. Pre-registration is highly encouraged as spots will fill up quickly!

Daniel Neihoff is at The Verve this Friday at 10pm.

Summerland Tour 2021 at The Mill
The Summerland Tour is back! Everclear will once again headline their popular 90s alt rock tour, this year including Living Colour, Hoobastank, and Wheatus.

Hotel Tango Distillery in Fletcher Place is hosting a Spiked Lemonade Stand to benefit Coburn Place Children’s Services programs. Coburn Place receives 20% of the bar sales for this event featuring specialty lemonade-inspired drinks – including a refreshing mocktail. The Watermelon- and Guava-Infused Spiked Lemonade is available in a to-go cocktail kit from July 5 through 12 for pick up July 13 through 16. The kits are $30 and make up to six drinks. Coburn Place gets $15 from each kit sold.

Saturday, July 17th

8th Annual Aeronca Fly-In at Sky King Airport at 8:30am.

Celebrating all things Aeronca. Breakfast and lunch available. All types of aircraft are encouraged to fly-in and let us celebrate your pride and joy as well. Notable past visitors include a P-51D and a DC-3. We hope to see you then!

White Pine Farmer’s Market in Brazil, Indiana.

We are here every Saturday from 8am to noon. We will provide fresh produce, breads, cheeses, home-baked delicious goodies! We will also have local vendors with their creations, so we can support local small businesses.

Jolly Pines in West Terre Haute is opening the U-Cut flower field!! It will be the start of their 2021 season. They will have some wonderful small businesses set up to showcase their talents and goods. You can shop, pick flowers and enjoy the outdoors in one spot!!

Bike the Wabashiki Trail with our Griffin Bike Park Manager and VCPRD Natural Resource Programmer on an adventurous 10-mile fundraising ride through the river bottoms. Hybrids and mountain bikes are recommended, helmets are required. Clear-lensed glasses suggested. Adult supervision is required for ages 13 and under. Bring a bike light or headlamp to light the trail. Snacks and water provided while supplies last. Payment will be $5 accepted onsite with cash only, please.

There will be 70 local vendors selling vintage goods, handmade items, boutique clothing, and a ton more. Multiple food vendors will be selling delicious food and Sun King will be serving their incredible beer all day.

The event is completely free to the public, parking is completely free in the Sun King parking lot and all ages are welcome! No ticket purchase it necessary — just show up!
