Surround yourself with the beauty of the holiday season during Christmas at the Zoo presented by Donatos Pizza and Teachers Credit Union (TCU). This holiday tradition runs Nov. 21 through Dec. 30, closed only on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Day.
Our beloved holiday tradition is included with regular admission and free for members. Timed-entry tickets are required for all members and guests. We are following the city and state guidelines for limiting capacity, and we do anticipate selling out on certain days, especially as Christmas draws closer. We encourage everyone to plan ahead and visit early this year.
For our 52nd year, we’re adding even more lights to fill the Zoo with a warm glow. Plan your Christmas at the Zoo visit and experience the holiday magic for yourself.
http://bit.ly/2Qx0L2DThe Zoo opens daily at noon and the festivities begin at 5pm. Come early to visit many of our more robust animals, including sea lions, tigers, red panda, brown bears and many others. Then watch as the Zoo transforms at dusk and enjoy the magical nighttime experience as you stroll through the Zoo covered in the twinkling glow of holiday LED lights presented by
Ascension St. Vincent. Plus stay late with extended hours until 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays or 9pm other nights.
Under our Bicentennial Pavilion, Santa’s Village is our newest addition. Encounter wintertime animals, see Santa’s sleigh and reindeer, snap photos with your family and stroll through the breath-taking Tunnel of Lights.
Santa’s Village is among our most popular areas, so we’ll be monitoring attendance in this area and in all our indoor buildings throughout the Zoo to ensure guests have space for social distancing. Additionally, all guests age 3 and up must wear a mask in all indoor areas, including restrooms, and outdoors in areas where social distancing is not possible. Learn more about all our safety guidelines on our website.
