TH Children’s Museum is bringing us a Gingerbread House Construction Zone

Get your family together to build & decorate a gingerbread house, during Miracle on 7th Street!

12 Point’s Christmas Tree Lighting

Santa will be there for children. There will be singing, dancing, hot chocolate, and treats! Admission is free. We will be accepting donations for Covered With Love. Mayor Duke Bennett will light the tree at 5:30 pm.

District 6 Christmas
When:  Saturday, December 4th, 10am-5pm
What: Vendors set up selling goods, a hot cocoa bar, Christmas decor. Additionally, they will have locally-grown Poinsettias (5 different varieties!), Houseplants, and their ever-popular succulent bar.
 
They will be accepting donations & 10% of all District 6 Market sales will be donated to a local family with a big need. 
 
Friday evening (Dec 3rd), 5-8PM, under the glow of the Christmas lights, they are hosting a VIP event inside the greenhouse. Not only will you have first dibs at shopping the best selection of plants & products, you’ll also be entered into giveaways , TJ Haase Winery will be serving their delicious mulled wine as well as offering a Friday ONLY special- 2 bottles of wine for $20! & we’ll have a popcorn bar!

Candy Canes on Main is an annual Christmas event that promotes shopping local during the holiday season in downtown Casey, Illinois. This event is always held on the first full weekend in December. The 7th annual Candy Canes on Main will take place on Friday, December 3rd & Saturday, December 4th, 2021.
Candy Canes on Main is a FREE family-friendly event that is fun for all ages!

The 2021 Christmas in the Park Run/Walk, sponsored by Chick-fil-A, will be held on December 4, 2021 at Deming Park. This race benefits Clothe a Child with 50% of the proceeds going to the organization.
This race includes a 5K run/walk option for adults and youth; a 3K run/walk option for youth who are 8th grade and under; and 1/2 mile Reindeer Romp for youth who are 8 years old and under. The Reindeer Romp will start at 9:50 a.m. with the 5K and 3K starting after that.
Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College is excited to present the Light Your Way Christmas Parade again in partnership with Miracle on 7th Street. After a hiatus, the fifth annual parade is back to spread joy!
Free and open to the public, the parade will feature all things Christmas spirit —lights, music and magic. Participants include high schools, churches, local organizations and of course, Santa Claus!
The 2021 parade route begins at 5th Street and Wabash Avenue, goes east on Wabash and continues until 9th Street. The area from 5th to 6th streets on Wabash Avenue is designated as a Sensory Friendly Area for those with sounds and food sensitivities. Therefore, food items will not be distributed in this one block area and no sounds will be used. However, parade participants can hand out non-edible items.

The Perils of Pixie Book Signing

During Miracle on 7th Street, drop by Haute Body Bar & Spa and meet Pixie and get your book signed for the Holidays. A portion of the proceeds go toward rescue facilities in the Wabash Valley.

Clay City Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

There will be caroling around the Christmas tree,the reading of the Christmas story prior to the lighting of the tree, and the tree will be decorated with the ornaments the Clay City Elementary Students made.

Ready to see Santa and drink hot cocoa? Join Cotton Chaos for a Hot Cocoa with Santa Extravaganza on select days this December with the big man from the North Pole!
Setup like a Christmas themed tea party with hot chocolate instead of tea, this party is sure to tickle your fancy.
Santa will arrive shortly after your arrival to join for the festivities and leave shortly before your time is finished!
Each ticket includes a hot chocolate bomb, Christmas cookies and sweets, scones, candy canes, a photo opportunity with Santa as well as a special Cotton Candy gift from the North Pole!

District 6 Wreath Making Class
Sunday, December 5 at 3:00 PM
Make your own fresh greens wreath to bring in the holiday season with style!
During this hands-on class, guests will learn how to take a 14” round wreath frame (the finished wreath will be bigger) and turn it into a holiday masterpiece using a mixture of fresh, fragrant greens including Fir, Spruce, Pine & Cedar!
A walk through demonstration along with support from 2 instructors will be provided during the class as well as care tips to ensure that your wreath lasts as long as possible.
At the end of the class, take home your beautiful creation to enjoy through the holiday season!
Class size is limited to 24 participants (1 person/ticket) and the cost is $55, which includes everything you need to create a radiant wreath- fresh greens, a wreath frame, floral wire, a decorative ribbon & instruction.
Extra embellishments will be available for an additional charge & we recommend bringing your garden gloves.
*Also included in ticket price is a trip to the Sons’ Spice Co Hot Cocoa bar where you can create your hot beverage of choice to sip during class!
