The WintersEve Gathering takes place this Friday & Saturday at The Red Barn. Join them for a pop-up fiber arts, vintage, and gift market.

There will be artists set up with private classes, vendors selling their goods, and Federal Coffee + Fine Foods will have a mobile espresso bar with hot chocolate, coffee, winter cocktails, and small bites.

On, Saturday, November 20, 2021, Catholic Charities Terre Haute will launch a new event: Cheers for Charity – a wine and bourbon tasting that pairs each selection with a hand-crafted appetizer. This fundraiser will replace the long-standing annual benefit as the Agency explores new fundraising avenues.
Cheers for Charity promises to provide a unique opportunity as guests taste a total of six wines or bourbons – you can even mix and match – all while learning about Catholic Charities’ mission to nourish the minds, bodies and spirits of our neighbors.
The new event will be held at Mussallem Union at Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, in Terre Haute from 7pm to 10pm. The evening will include wine and bourbon tastings, each paired with bite size appetizers, a silent auction and live music provided by the band Mullet Over.
VIP tickets holders will also enjoy a pre-event cocktail hour with an exclusive drink crafting-demonstration by 2020 and 2021 TribStar Readers’ Choice Best Bartender Kenny Linn and sampling with additional appetizers. A special thank you to our Diamond Sponsor Ross Elliott Jewelers.

The Sinfonietta Pops Orchestra will present the concert Christmas at the Woods: A New Beginning on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cecilian Auditorium at St. Mary-of-the- Woods College. Admission is $10, Adults, $5. Students and children 10 or younger Free. This is also known as the Sock” Concert”. Everyone brings a new pair of socks we then distribute to local agencies to share with our neighbors in need at Christmas.

Our beloved holiday tradition is included with regular admission and free for members. For our 53rd year, we’re adding even more lights and displays to fill the Zoo with a warm glow.

Take an hour and fifteen-minute ride on our historic train with Santa himself. See Santa’s workshop and cross over beautiful Morse Reservoir while singing Christmas carols and sipping hot chocolate.
