Since forming in 2016 and true to their blue-collar nature, South City Revival has spent much of their time gigging around the midwest — headlining small clubs throughout the region and supporting bands such as Sister Hazel, Reckless Kelly, A Thousand Horses, Little Texas, Vandoliers and The Black Lillies. With an EP and a full length album released in 2017 and 2020 respectively, and an extensive catalogue of cover songs from Merle Haggard to Bruce Springsteen, South City Revival continues to expand their Rock & Roll infused take on Country and Americana music.

They will be live at the Verve this Friday night at 10pm.

MAIBOCK 🍺 BAVARIAN-INSPIRED FOOD SPECIALS 🥨 ALL UPLAND LOCATIONS
The Fest of Spring 🍺 🌷 🥨 🌸 Maifest is a time to celebrate the longer days, warmer weather, and friends & family. Join us to raise a pint to Spring on Saturday, May 22nd!
THE BEER
Maibock has a subtle noble hop aroma followed by toasty, biscuit notes with a crisp balanced finish.
The style originates in Munich, Germany dating back to at least the mid-1800s. Traditionally brewed in the winter and “laid down,” or aged until spring, Maibock is light in color and meant to be the perfect transition between heavier, more malty winter brews and crisp hoppy summer beers. Expect a somewhat stronger version of an Oktoberfest with a bit less maltiness and a smidge more hop character.
THE FOOD
Maibock pairs best with Bavarian-inspired dishes & polka tunes.
♦️ Bavarian Pretzel served with Dragonfly IPA mustard, beer cheese, & pimento cheese
♦️ Pork Schnitzel with Jager sauce, braised cabbage with apples & spaetzle.
♦️ Seitan Schnitzel with Jager sauce, braised cabbage with apples & spaetzle
♦️ Grill Brat with smoked gouda and sauerkraut on a hoagie roll served with IPA Beer mustard
♦️ Black forest cake-Chocolate porter cake infused with sour cherry syrup, tart cherry spread & chocolate buttercream
♦️ & the full Upland food menu!
