What To Do This Weekend 3.19-3.21

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! If you need something to do today don’t fret there is plenty O’ fun to be had around town, check out our stories on Instagram for some fun ideas. This weekend March Madness kicks off and we are starting to see some type of normalcy with events. Check out a list of activities, entertainment, and events to do this weekend below.

Friday, March 19th

Join the Dawgleg Bar & Grill for live music by Bubba Wiggles, delicious food, and ice cold drinks! Music starts at 7:30pm.

Photos with the Easter Bunny!

March 19-21 | March 26-28 | April 2-3
Bring the whole family out to the Meadows Shopping Center for pictures with the Easter Bunny! This event is sponsored by Images Photography and will take place the last 2 weekends in March and the first weekend in April. 
 
The Easter Bunny will be at the Meadows:
  • Fridays: March 19, 26, and April 2 – 4pm-7pm
  • Saturdays: March 20, 27, and April 3 – 12pm-5pm
  • Sundays: March 21 and 28 – 12pm-5pm

Milkwalker will be playing at the Terre Haute Brewing Company at 8pm.

The Nerve at 10pm. The perfect soundtrack to a night of awesome half-memories! Live at The Verve with a $5 Indiana Craft Beer Special!

Trey Hughes will be playing at 365 Bar & Grill this Friday night. Country music kicks off at 8pm.

Open Mic Comedy 
Every Friday at 8pm at Tolly’s Bar & Grill
Comics – 5-7 minute sets. Good opportunity to try out new jokes and network with other comedians!
Comedy Lovers – come out and support local comedy! Laughing during sets is encouraged, talking is not!

Tyler Trueblood will be playing at Poplar Pub this Friday night at 9pm.

Bottleworks Bball Bash
We’re taking over the Bottleworks District to give you basketball, beer and fun! Part of Carrollton Ave will be blocked off to make room for 20-foot LED screens to watch the games, beer trailers and so much more. This free event is open to the public, so grab your friends and come out to Bottleworks for some basketball.
Our sponsors are bringing their A-game. Check out a live graffiti artist, historical showcases of Coca-Cola’s partnership with basketball and Indiana artifacts, and more provided by Coca-Cola. Grab a beer from Stella Artois’ Airstream bar or from Goose Island’s beer trailer. And don’t forget the swag from Indiana Sports Corp.

2021 Trail Run Series
Saturday, March 20
Griffin Bike Park
8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Ages 5+
$10 Registration Fee
Pre-Registration Required
Runners will traverse an approximately 3-mile trail throughout Griffin Bike Park! This is a cup-less event so make sure to bring a water bottle or drink carrier. Onsite registration begins at 8 a.m. with races starting at 8:45 a.m.
Runners will participate in one of the following classes:
1. Under 18 Boys and Girls
2. Over 18 Men
3. Over 18 Women
There is a $10 entry fee per trail run. Ribbons will be awarded to the top 3 finishers of each run. Don’t be afraid to get into the water! Enjoy a cinematic classic with friends and family from the comfort of your own vehicle and make a splash for Special Olympics athletes at a very special shark-themed #TerreHautePlunge on Saturday, March 20 at the Moon Lite Drive-In Theater.
Plungers will take a quick dip into a pool of freezing water before being treated to a screening of JAWS on the big screen. Spectators and others can watch the plunge, the movie, or both!
– This event is open to the public, with a suggested donation of $20 per vehicle for non-plungers. All proceeds benefit Special Olympics Indiana.
– Souvenir Polar Plunge cups and one free drink per individual are included with your donation.
– Masks will be required when away from your vehicle, and other health and safety protocols will be in effect. Learn more at www.PolarPlungeIN.org.

Donut Challenge vs. Non- Donut Challenge
Donut Challenge- Not your typical 5K! Participants take on the challenge of consuming a dozen donut holes halfway, before racing back to the finish.
Non-Donut Challenge- Make the 5K run/walk as competitive or fun as you like! Donut worry, there will be plenty of donuts to enjoy after the race.

The Broad Ripple Winter Market is located on the lower level-north side of Glendale Town Center, 2625 E. 62nd St., on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon, November thru April.
