Saturday, November 9th
The Indy Brew Battle is a charity beer event featuring brews from 7 local homebrew clubs and 2 homebrew shops with 100% of proceeds going to the Hoosier Veterans Assistance Foundation. The HVAF clothes, houses, feeds, and finds employment for Indiana veterans. The event will feature 10 separate beer stations, Circle City Kombucha, Rusted Silo BBQ, and Culligan water. The Brew Battle takes place Saturday from 4pm-7pm at Indiana City Brewing Company.
The Sins and Spirits Haunted History Walking Tour takes patrons on a one hour walk around the city of Terre Haute. Along the way, we will stop at 5 locations with ties to Terre Haute’s brewing history and its days as Sin City. We will discuss the spirits that inhabit each location as well as their interactions with the living. The walking tour takes place this Saturday at 5pm. Please arrive at the Max Erhmann statue 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. This event is for ages 16 and over.
Mullet Over will be playing at Show-Me’s this Saturday evening. Enjoy some throwbacks by this great local band. Music starts at 8:30pm.
The 1st Annual VCYSA Victory Vine 5K benefitting the Vigo County Youth Soccer Association is taking place this Saturday at 10am.
This event will feature a 5k run / walk as well as the Messy Mile, a fun kid’s 1 mile run.
The 5k will begin at Water Tower Estates Winery just down the street from the VCYSA fields. Runners / walkers will then run down to the soccer fields where they will complete a large loop through the fields before running back to their finish at Watertower!
The kid’s Messy Mile will be a 1 mile route off of any streets and completely closed to traffic.
The event will begin and end at the beautiful Watertower Estates Winery!
All participants will receive:

– Disposable Chip Timing
– Cool wine themed overall and age group awards
– 1 free post race glass of wine (21 and over)

Your first glass of wine / sparkling grape juice is included in your entry fee. You can also buy additional drinks just remember to bring cash or card!
If you do wish to have wine at the post-race party you must bring your ID to packet pickup when you pick up your race packet so that we can band you with the proper 21 and over bracelet. You must be present with your ID in order to receive the bracelet. No ID no bracelet no wine.
After the race we will have a fun post-race party where you can play games and enjoy your free glass of wine! We will also have a family friendly kid’s zone with plenty of fun activities for your kiddos.
Venus & Vine POP-UP Markets are done for the year but that doesn’t mean they don’t have some great things planned for this holiday season! Join them Saturday, November 9th, for a trunk show featuring Bites and Blessings Iced Sugar Cookies and Pure GRACE Soap Body Products.

Sun King Brewery of Indianapolis is hosting a Finger Painting class featuring Potted Geraniums on raw Linen Canvas Board 12″ x 12″. Sun King will be providing the space at their downtown location. What better fun than to create your masterpiece and sip some of their special beers. Class is $40 per person (Must be 21yrs).
