Summer is in full swing and that mean’s days by the pool, keeping your kids occupied with fun activities, vacations to far off places, and not a lot of time spent worrying about what you’re going to eat for dinner. What if you didn’t have to worry and you could order and pick-up delicious, affordable, fresh (not frozen) prepared meals created by a local chef?! 
The Butler’s Pantry is local to Terre Haute and is well known for it’s catered events at The Red Barn. For those who have never attended an event at the barn or had a chance to stop by their pop-up farmhouse restaurant, they also offer a meals-to-go service every week for anyone in the area. The chef, Kris Kraut creates a different menu each week with around five seasonal entrees to choose from. There is also an option to add one of their fresh baked breads or mouthwatering desserts onto your order.
The staff creates a menu and shares it on their website and Facebook page at the beginning of the week. Orders can then be placed online or over the phone at (812) 567-6565 Tuesday thru Friday. When you order, you will specify what date that you would like to arrange for the meals to be picked up. Be sure to try and place your order the day before, if you are ordering the day of, give them a call. They are amazing at trying to make things work for their customers, even last minutes requests. The menu always features a vegan and gluten free option, if you have dietary requests, leave a comment on your online order for them to see if they are able to accommodate it.
All meals are ready to pick up inside the farmhouse between 3-6pm, Tuesday-Friday. The meals are put in microwavable safe re-usable containers and each entree comes with simple, easy-to-follow instructions.
Melissa was able to heat it up quickly and plate it perfectly in less than 5 minutes. Making dinner easy and quick to do with none of that guilt from a quick fast food stop. If you’re like Brittany and are weird and don’t have a microwave, just ask for oven-safe containers and directions and they are happy to accommodate your needs. Feeding a crowd or group? No worries, just ask for it to be packaged family style and you’re set!

With their all new Meals-To-Go Club card pick-up is even quicker and easier than it was before. You simply walk in, hand them your card, they punch it, and gather your order for you.

There are 3 levels of cards available at different price points. Each level has a set number of pre-pared entrees and bonus free entrees.
