A Look At

Lemongrass Thai Cuisine

We know that all of us are always searching for new and amazing places to enjoy food from.  That’s why when we saw the announcement for Lemongrass last summer, we patiently waited for the new Thai restaurant to open it’s doors.  When we finally got to take a look, Lemongrass Thai Cuisine did not disappoint.

Lemongrass is located on the south side of Terre Haute, IN at 3830 US Highway 41.  This quint Thai restaurant offers both dine-in services, as well as carryout.  They are open from 11am-3pm Monday thru Friday and reopen for diner service at 4pm.  For the weekend, they are open 11am-10pm on Saturday and 11:30am-9pm on Sunday.

When they officially opened their doors, the community response and reviews were amazing.  As a fan of Thai cuisine, I was excited to see another thai restaurant open in the area.  Offering a range of traditional thai options, Lemongrass has a variety of curries, noodle bowls, chef specialities, and seafood options available.  Not to mention some delicious and noteworthy appetizers.

Some of the appetizers offered are crispy spring rolls, thai dumplings, coconut shrimp, and chicken satay.  One of my personal favorites were the crispy spring rolls; they were so full of flavor, let light and super crispy.  They are a must try!

Melissa took advantage of the many soup options Lemongrass has available (as well of the spring rolls!).  With the use of herbs and spices to find the perfect balance, Thai cuisine is extremely flavorful. A common dish you see served in thai cuisine is Pad Thai.  This is one of my favorite dishes (and a go to I make at home), so I had to order it.  You can add your choice of meat to the Pad Thai, so I opted to add tofu and shrimp to mine.  AMAZING, I loved the light note of sweetness their sauce has and the perfect texture added with the crushed peanuts.

If your looking to try out Lemongrass Thai Cuisine, but still aren’t ready to dine-in, no worries!  Not only does Lemongrass offer pick-up services, but they are also available to order on DoorDash, Uber Eats, and GrubHub.

Enjoy!
