Driving through downtown Westfield, Indiana’s cute and quaint downtown area, your eyes immediately dart to this aesthetically pleasing brewery sitting right off of Main Street. Field Brewing obviously offers tasty craft beer but their array of farm-to-table food is a pleasant surprise. Stack on the ability to sit outside, bring your pup, play some bocce ball, and sit under the dull Edison lights throughout the evening, and you have yourself a recipe for a memorable evening.
Field Brewing was founded in 2018 with a focus on crafting food and drink for their community. They have produced a desirable attraction for building authentic relationships while allowing patrons the ability to even rent out space for events of different sizes.
Upon walking up to the brewery, the garden steals a lot of attention. The perfectly spaced rows of produce that are used in the kitchen give off an instant sensation that the food you order will be healthy and taste preferably better (which it does). The fields of green also make you want to rush inside to the counter, grab a cold can of Backroads Amber Lager or hot coffee, while you roam through the rows of perfection with your pooch by your side.
Sit down at the back patio for an order of brussel sprouts, hot wings, or a quick drink and you won’t regret it. You’ll be fully entertained dining while watching a group of friends play bocce ball on the perfectly manicured yard or lounging under the covered patio enjoying a flight of Field Beer.
After sipping one of their speciality cocktails, you may be persuaded to attend their next on-site event. Field Brewing is hosting an event on September 15, 2020 at 6:30pm for a cocktail class. I don’t know about you, but I’ve been making more and more cocktails at home during these COVID times, and it would be nice if they actually tasted halfway decent. Learn how to make a grade-A ‘tail by signing up for this class. You will gain hands on experience by learning techniques from the pros on how to curate the perfect cocktails while enjoying a small bites plate from the kitchen. Masks required, $45 per person. If you are looking for more of a hands-off or carry-out experience, don’t you worry. Field Brewing offers curbside pickup and free delivery meals. There is also direct access to their online market and online ordering through the Toast Takeout App. They are open every day from 11am-8pm.
