Terre Haute Farmer’s Market
Join us as we celebrate some of the Wabash Valley organizations that care for and support our friends and neighbors! You can learn more about resources like CODA, The WILL Center, Happiness Bag, and The Pride Center this Saturday, August 28th, from 8:00 – noon in The Meadows parking lot.
As always, you can find local growers and makers, who will be bringing farm fresh produce, chicken, beef, pork, lamb, and eggs, homemade baked goods and breads, sauces and seasonings, natural soaps and lotions, artisan crafts and textiles, candles, and so much more!
We’ll have live music by Joe Wright, so it’s a day you don’t want to miss!

Baesler’s Ribeye Sandwiches event for the Sullivan City Pool

Lunch will take place from 11am-2pm and be $7 (includes a ribeye sandwich, chips and a drink). For groups of 5 or more please place an order with us. All proceeds will go towards revitalization of the Sullivan City Pool. In an effort to revitalize the city pool that closed in 2018, the City of Sullivan is working to raise funds with the hopes of reopening the City of Sullivan Community Pool by Summer 2022. “Splash Sullivan” was a created as a marketing and fundraising campaign raise awareness and generate excitement.

Party in the Park
The United Way’s Strong Neighborhood Impact Council is hosting a neighborhood party to kick-off a series of events we will be hosting in the Ryves neighborhood over the next few months.
We will be having free food, music, and kid activities!
We encourage you to come and spend some time with neighbors and talk to United Way staff and volunteers about what you would like to see happen in your neighborhood.

All ages-Adult supervision required for ages 13 & under
$5/person (cash only please)
Bike the Wabashiki Trail with our Griffin Bike Park Manager and VCPRD Natural Resource Programmer on an adventurous 10-mile fundraising ride through the river bottoms. Hybrids and mountain bikes are recommended, helmets are required. Clear-lensed glasses suggested. Adult supervision is required for ages 13 and under. Bring a bike light or headlamp to light the trail. Snacks and water provided while supplies last. Payment will be $5 accepted onsite with cash only, please.

Karaoke Sing for the Survivors Contest

This event is a fun and friendly contest for the best singer. We will have four (4) local CELEBRITY Judges. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Please contact Alisa @ Tolly’s Bar and Grill for registration details, 812-917-4565. The registration fee will be $10 per person. All proceeds go to support Team of Mercy’s mission. We are in the midst of a mental health crisis and these funds will help ensure our commUNITY members get the mental health services they may need. Help save a life and have fun doing it!
