DONUT worry, we found one of the cutest shops where you can get your sugary “hole food” fix and it’s only 3o minutes away! Wheel House Donuts is located in Rockville, Indiana right behind Thirty-Six Saloon and should be on your list of places to visit.Wheel House Donuts opened up a little over a year ago in a little fixer upper house in Rockville, and they’ve been busy ever since. The shop is owned by Craig Waugh & Valerie Vezey who both grew up in a small town in Canada. They both share a love for coffee & donuts and decided to open up their very own unique shop.
Wheel House Donuts currently serves fresh donuts, coffee, salads, and sandwiches. Their goal was to bring a smile to their customers faces and they seem to be doing just that. All of their donuts are fresh and made-to-order. Their favorites include PB&J, Salted Caramel, Cereal Special, & Cookies N’ Cream just to name a few.
But the choice is all up to you, when you walk in you are greeted and given a piece of paper where you can pick and choose what icing, donut, & toppings you’d like to create. Since their offerings are made-to-order, you will have to withstand a little wait until your donuts are ready for you. But the wait, is soooo worth it!The shop has also started serving lunch at Wheel House, they offer made-to-order salads and sandwiches. All sandwiches are customizable with Boars Head meat and cheese on fresh bread or served as a lettuce wrap.Wheel House is also known for their amazing customer service. When you visit, it’s very likely that one of the owners is working and both of them like to get to know their customers. The shop hosts many events throughout the year including group bicycle rides, live music, and trivia. Wheel House is even known for taking the shop out on the road, you can find them at Racoon Lake in the summer and other festivals in the surrounding area.Wheel House Donuts is open Monday-Saturday 6:30am-6pm & Sundays 8am-2pm. Stay updated on their weekly flavors through their Facebook Page or amazing Instagram account.
