โOn her first jazz quartet โVisions,โ award-winning saxophonist Melissa Aldana connects her work to the legacy of Latina artists who have come before her, creating a pathway for her own expression. Inspired by the life and works of Frida Kahlo, Aldana creates a parallel between her experiences as a female saxophone player in a male-dominated community, and Kahloโs experiences as a female visual artist working to assert herself in a landscape dominated by men. ย Butler is hosting a live virtual stream of Melissa Friday at 7:30pm.

Now that Spring has officially sprung, itโs time to kickoff District 6 Marketโs 2021 potting parties!ย Come join them at Terre Haute Campground for their first class of the year on Saturday, April 10, 2021 @ 1 PM!
During this hands-on class, guests will learn how to properly care for our best-selling flower, the Wave Petunia!ย We will bring several types of Wave Petunias, and of course several different colors.ย A personalized shopping experience to choose flowers (flowers are included in the cost of the class) will be provided, followed by a walk-through demonstration as you transplant your unique arrangement. Our certified Wave Petunia expert will be there to answer any questions.ย At the end of the class, take home your beautiful creation to enjoy all season long!ย
While you are enjoying this class, you will get the first-hand experience of the hospitality that the Terre Haute Campground provides its guests!ย Fresh-baked cookies and popcorn will be provided free of charge to all class participants!ย Additionally, there are other refreshments available for purchase including – homemade pizza, wine (be on the lookout for a class special!), soft drinks, energy drinks (could be the key to keeping the crazy plant ladies going?), ice cream & even candy.
Class size is limited to 30 participants (1 person/ticket) and the cost is $40. This cost includes a planter, potting mix, 5 petunia plants, fresh-baked cookies & popcorn, personalized instruction, and a good time!ย Class is from 1:00-2:30 PM.
Crosley Radio Players Showย is hosting their FIRST show of their 14th season! Saturday, April 10th at the WABASH ACTIVITY CENTER, 5th & Poplar in Terre Haute They will be recreating episodes of The Lone Ranger, Your Hit Parade, and Our Miss Brooks. Tickets will go on sale within the next week AT the Center, $10 for adults, and $6 for children, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Activity Center. Refreshments will be available. Please help keep the Wabash Activity Center in operation! Hope to see you there.

Babies & Brunch at Prairie Fruits Farm & Creamery
Spring on the farm means goats giving birth, lots and lots of baby goats and fresh milk for cheese making. Join us Saturdays in April for “Babies & Brunch!” Visit with the babies and enjoy a grab & go brunch item (you choose sweet or savory). Each Saturday, we’ll feature a different bakery.
