Friday, April 30th
The White Violet Center for Eco-Justice is hosting a Spring Plant Sale this Friday from 12pm-5pm.
Gardeners and plant enthusiasts are invited to shop for organically grown vegetable, flower and herb plants at the White Violet Farm greenhouse which is north of the Farm Store. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
Plants being sold include cherry tomatoes, slicing tomatoes, sweet peppers, hot peppers, kale, chard, cucumbers, zucchini, oregano, thyme, cilantro, dill, marjoram, basil and parsley. They will also have a variety of flowers.

Flicks at Victory Field- 42
Released in 2013, 42 takes baseball fans and viewers alike back in time to share the real-life struggles and challenges Jackie Robinson endured on and off the field. The late Chadwick Boseman starred in the film as Jackie Robinson. 42 is rated PG-13 for thematic elements including insensitive language. Viewer discretion advised.
Gates open at 6 pm with showtime at 7 pm. Limited $5 parking (ONLY cash accepted) will be available in the Victory Field parking lot.
On-field Viewing Experiences:
The Victory Field playing surface is the perfect home for an unforgettable movie watching experience, with 106 on-field seating pods available for purchase at just $75 per pod. Seating pods can accommodate up to six (6) people and must be reserved online. Pods are 10’ x 10’ squares with 10’ walkways separating all pods. Picnic blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Outside food and beverages are prohibited.

RACE RULES: All riders must check in Saturday morning from 7:30-8:45 a.m. and attend the rider meeting at 8:50 a.m. A LeMans style (running) start will be used to spread the field. All divisions will start together. Standings will be measured by number of laps completed. Riders on the same lap will be ranked by the lowest clock time at the lap / finish point. Scoring ends at the cutoff time – any lap completed after cutoff does not count! Mechanical support may be provided only in the pit/parking area. During the lap, each rider must be entirely self-sufficient. Once in the pit (not during a lap), a rider may change bikes or any equipment. Food and drink may be provided to riders only in the designated feed zone near the lap line.
SOLO: One tent or one vehicle may be placed adjacent to the pit area. Each rider is limited to 10′ frontage along the marked pit area. Riders exiting the course for any reason must use the pit area to exit the course and return to the course for the official finish/start of a lap.
TEAM: Team divisions are: 2 riders for Duo 3/6 Hours, up to 4 riders for 6 Hours. Relay-style exchanges will be allowed only after each full lap, at the pit area. Teams may use any strategy of rider rotation desired. Each rider must complete at least one lap.
