Whether for shopping, eating out, or finding our favorite new product; we have always loved supporting local business. This year, more than ever, it’s important that we’re supporting our local businesses and entrepreneurs as they battle the unknowns and hardships of 2020. As we get closer to Small Business Saturday, this week we’ll be doing a few round-up lists of local business and eateries that need your support this year.
This year, let’s make Small Business Saturday the best one yet and celebrate having Small Business Everyday.
Christmas at The Meadows
This Saturday, November 28th is Christmas at The Meadows, from 9am-4pm. This is their 2nd Annual event, and they will have over 50 local vendors spread out in the atrium selling a variety of items that are just what you need for local Christmas gifts to give to friends and family.
The tree lighting ceremony takes place this Saturday, November 28th at 6pm.
Santa is arriving at The Meadows on Sunday, November 29th & select dates in December. Due to Covid, they suggest scheduling a time slot to meet the jolly guy. You can sign up here.
Photos just $20 for 2 5×7’s PLUS a digital file. Fridays 4-7, Saturdays and Sundays noon to 5.
The Stork Stop
The Stork Shop is a baby + children’s specialty boutique located inside The Meadows. They will be running specials for Small Business Saturday AND Black Friday. They will have 20% off Accessories + 30% off Apparel, so now is the perfect time to get some adorable outfits and accessories for the littles. This year they also have special Christmas Jammies Box Sets. The Medium Christmas Jammies Box Set includes a set of Christmas Jammies, a Christmas book, and a stocking stuffer surprise. The Large Christmas Jammies Box Set not only includes a set of Christmas Jammies and a Christmas book, but three stocking stuffer items and something fun for bath time.
Terre Haute Farmer’s Market
The Terre Haute Farmers Markets will be outside on The Meadows Patio on Saturday December 5th and Saturday, December 19th from 9am-12pm. They have a variety of vendors including The Pickery, Simply Sons’ Seasoning, Kara Lovell Ceramics, Fern Fresh, Harvest Bakery, and Beezer’s BBQ Sauce just to name a few.
Meadows Cafe
The Grinch is headed back to Meadows Café on Monday, November 30th at 5pm. So be sure to grab all your who-kids and Christmas cheer and head there to see The Grinch’s Arrival.
That a wrap for this round-up. We’ll have EVEN MORE featured tomorrow from some local boutiques and cafes!
Enjoy!
