30 minutes West of Fort Wayne sits the picturesque small town of Columbia City, Indiana. It is full of adorable quaint restaurants, rustic architecture, and unique locally owned shops. One of their more popular women’s boutiques, is Indie Republic. We discovered this boutique at the Hobnob Harvest Market back in September & fell in love with what they had to offer.
Indie Republic (formerly Rubies & Whimsy) features an ever changing collection of unique women’s clothing in sizes extra small through 2x, as well as handcrafted jewelry, shoes, accessories and more. An assortment of home decor is available as well.
Indie Republic sits in the heart of downtown Columbia City. They are closed Sunday & Monday but are open:
Tuesdays-Fridays 11am-6pm
Saturdays 10am-3pm
The boutique offers in-person shopping at their brick in mortar store on West Van Buren Street, virtual shopping through their website, & they set up shop at local farmers markets and boutique markets throughout the state. Indie Republic is planning to be set up at the Hobnob Holiday Market this coming weekend on November 6th & 7th in Lebanon, Indiana.
The shop carries unique items you won’t find anywhere else and are inclusive to all ages & sizes. The style of the boutique is very bohemian chic. The items we purchased are no longer for sale but these are a few of my current favorites that can still be purchased.
