Better days are coming. They are called Saturday & Sunday! This weekend kicks off the Terre Haute Air Show and it’s bound to be a packed house. If you live on the East side it’ll be a LOUD weekend so it’s the perfect time to venture away to a beer fest, taco crawl, or brunch festival in Indy.

Friday, August 17th

This Friday 6pm-9pm WaterTower Estates is hosting live music with Logan Lake & Special Guest: Reggie! Come enjoy a relaxing evening on the covered patio! The weather is looking beautiful, the wine slushees will be flowing, and the music will be jammin!Having started as a party with friends, LIVEstock is a day-long festival featuring SEVEN regional acts gathering to get back to the roots of MUSIC in the heart of Indiana. On the picturesque hills of Willer Timber Ridge Farm, LIVEstock Music Festival is a Celebration of Life, Love & Music with Local Food & Beer for you to enjoy. This event will run Friday & Saturday. With FREE on-site parking, LIVEstock invites you to gather with friends whether you camp the night before (Friday is $5) and/or the night of (Saturday is FREE with admission).

There will be portable facilities and handwashing stations available.

For a taste of the Farmers’ Market, Breakfast will be available for purchase from local, friendly faces both Saturday & Sunday mornings for camping festivalgoers. Fresh from the garden & grill, Lunch & Dinner options will also be available for purchase. Locally-brewed beer & non-alcoholic beverages available. If camping on a cattle ranch isn’t your scene, reasonable taxicab rates to and from Greencastle are available, in addition to a LIVEstock guest rate at participating hotels.

The highlight of LIVEstock is the eclectic combination of regional MUSIC acts, including:

Saturday, August 18th

Join Zen Cat Yoga this Saturday as they host Kittens & Yoga. They will be holding 3 different class times 9:30am, 12:30pm, & 3:30pm.  Each class is $10 a piece and all proceeds will go to the Kitten Rescue.  They will also be offering a special Cat Craft Class at 6pm for $20. Class sizes are limited so RSVP on their Facebook Event Page.Baby got Brunch is hosted by A.Rose Hospitality, Bridget Davis EventsKID Presents: & various merchant associations and organizations. Their mission for this event is two-fold; to promote restaurants with innovative brunch menus, and use proceeds to support The Patachou Foundation and organizations focused on food access, putting wholesome food in the hands of school children in Indianapolis experiencing food insecurity.  This 21+ event will be the second annual brunch festival in Indianapolis highlighting Indy’s best restaurants with innovative brunch menus. There will be 25 chef-driven vendors competing in 5 categories of brunch fare, i.e., “Waffles”, “Eggs”, “Bacon”, “Biscuits & Gravy” and “Sweets”. This will be a fun and friendly competition where guests can text to vote with live results as the event unfolds. Some restaurants competing will be; Pioneer, Public Greens, Rook, Eggshell Bistro, Roosters, Wildwood Market, Taxman & Gallery Pastry Shop and overall winner last year; Kilroy’s with their famous breadsticks! There will be a “build-your-own bloody mary bar” sponsored by Goose The Market and 2 mimosa bars.  Their coffee partner will also be hosting “The League of Lattes”, a monthly barista latte art competition, that will be highlighted with our emcee DJ Indiana Jones. We are bringing back the very popular “donut wall” with Jack’s Donuts and introducing some new pop-up shop vendors such as Nine Lives Vintage selling vintage clothes.

Baby got Brunch takes place at The Pavillion at Pan Am this Saturday from 10am-2pm.   Ticket price includes. Bottomless Mimosas, Bloody Mary bar, open bar and food sampling from our vendors.

Pints & Poses $10 fee includes a 30 minute session with our yoga instructor and a drink of your choice. Bring your yoga mat and your drinking pants because your Saturdays just got better. In 1998 Upland opened its doors on 11th St.
20 years later they invite you to bring your family & friends to a free, all-ages event to celebrate 20 years of good times and connections with our hometown fans & partners who made it all possible. The 20th Anniversary Bloomington Block Party is Sunday from 1pm-6pm at Upland Brewing Co. They’ll have live music, food for purchase, activities and, of course, delicious beer! Enjoy live music by the “Upland All-Stars” – a band made up of current employees, with musicians rotating in and out throughout the sets.
