Friday, August 16th

The Hawkeyes and Milkwalker will be playing live at the Terre Haute Brewing Company this Friday.  Music kicks off at 7pm, come early for a table and drinks!

Start your Friday morning off with a BANG! The Red Room Cakery is bringing back their Bayou Beignet Platter.  It includes 5 nuggets of fried goodness, each one injected with its own pipette of liquid heaven. Kahlúa, Bailey’s, RumChata, Pisa Hazelnut liqueur, and a Chef J dark red wine/coffee/bourbon blend to be exact. Stop by for breakfast between 8-10am.

Platter cost is $10 a la carte, add a cup of Cafe Du Monde French Roast or Coffee and Chickory for $2 more and enjoy endless coffee if dining in with us. Hot tea, milk, or orange juice available as substitute.

They will of course have their regular Beignets available a la carte, or in a breakfast combo with a cup of above-mentioned coffee, tea, milk, or juice.

Dicky James will be playing live in the beer garden this Friday night! Charlies Pub and Grub is hosting music yet again from 8-11pm.

Charm School and Honey B’s Crochet School is hosting a Crochet Club! Meet other crocheters and relax while we work on our WIPs! The club will meet from 6-8pm.

Crochet Club is a time for relaxing, meeting fellow makers and swapping fresh ideas! The event will be very low key with some light snacks. Feel free to bring your WIP or start a new one! The $5 charge is to help cover the cost of using the space. This event is adults 18+.

**No formal instructions with be done at this event but we are all welcome to help one another!

Live at the Verve this Friday night starting at 9pm. Flower Mouth and The Nobodies will be playing on the main stage.

Zen Cat Yoga and Bottle 41 are hosting a Wine Class 103- California Wines Class.

At this wine class, you will:
– Learn what California wine is and how it differs from other wine countries around the world.
– Learn what to look for when shopping for California wine in your local stores.
– Learn why there are so many wine regions in California.
– Taste different styles of California wine, from sweet to dry.

Rib Fest kicked off Thursday night and runs through Saturday night. August 15-17: join us at Fairbanks Park for the ever popular Rib Fest.  Traveling vendors will compete for prizes with their delicious food.  There will be music nightly.  $3 admission  Call the Terre Haute Parks and Recreation main office at 812-232-2727 for details.Join Hotel Tango as they celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock on August 15th & August 16th. Enjoy our Summer of Love themed menu while listening to local music acts. THIS IS A FREE EVENT!

We will have meat & cheese trays available for purchase and food trucks on site that evening but feel free to bring a pizza, picnic, or other snacks! Just no outside alcohol.

Clear the Shelters is a one-day event that provides low-cost or waived adoption fees to adopt a pet. WTWO, Toyota of Terre Haute and eight animal shelters across the Wabash Valley are proud to be a part of this nationwide campaign.

Owning a pet is good for your health! Pet ownership is proven to make people happier and healthier. WTWO will be broadcasting live from the Terre Haute Humane Society Saturday, August 17th. So join us and give a forever home to one of the loving animals now residing in area shelters! come visit Toyota of Terre Haute from 12-4pm.

The Farmer’s Market is hosting a Young Musicians Showcase this Saturday. They will be joined by the students at Heartland Music Academy from 8:00 until noon this Saturday, August 17th. You can also talk to our friends at the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra about their upcoming season.

You’ll find lots of fresh produce, farm fresh meats and eggs, local honey and maple syrup, handmade soaps and bath products, crafts like wreaths, jewelry, and hand-carved wood, baked goods of every variety (including gluten-free and keto), gut-friendly fermented foods, live plants and cut flowers, Rex coffee, and so much more!

The Rolling Green Room comes to Terra Haute, Indiana! This Saturday at the Brewing Company from 8-10pm.

The Rolling Green Room is a nationwide standup comedy showcase run out of a 33 ft diesel RV. Road warriors Cody Woods (Comedy Central) and James Myers (Sirius XM) live and tour in a green 1994 Gulfstream, tour the country putting on live standup shows in unorthodox venues. They bring local and coastal comics along for the ride while recording their experiences on their youtube channel.Tickets to live shows are $10 presale or $20 at the door.

Soupbone and Jeff Randall will be playing in Charlies Beer Garden this Saturday. Grab a seat outside early, show kicks off at 8pm.

Did you all know Launch Terre Haute is now run out of the Ohio Building?! The Local Vinyl is setting up at Launch Terre Haute August 17th from 5 PM to 10 PM! Hundreds of new and used vinyl for sale! Art and apparel and an audio technica listening station! We’re hosting some of Terre Haute’s awesome talent including Paul Burkett on the saxophone followed by Lisa Wood on the keyboard. This event is all ages with no cover!
