Today is the longest day of the year & the first official day of Summer so what better way to celebrate than with a long list of Summer activities taking place this weekend! 

Friday, June 22nd

Come on out to Sycamore Winery for their 2nd food truck Friday event of the summer. They’re going to have a cornhole tournament, food truck from Red Fraizer Bison, and 3 Dollar Molly playing live music on the patio! They’ll also be tapping two more beers, details coming soon on those!

Cornhole starts at 7pm (details coming soon)The Big O’s will be performing this Friday night at the Velvet Room in the Terre Haute Brewing Company.  The Big O’s have been playing music in Terre Haute for 30 years. The band puts their own spin on many genres of new and old music ranging from R&B to Classic Rock to Blues.  The band consists of Roger Osburn on bass and vocals, Kevin Hood on Drums and Percussion, and Mike Ames on Guitar and vocals. The music begins at 8pm.Please join Thompson Motorsports of Terre Haute the night before the long awaited return of motorcycle flat track racing to Terre Haute Indiana with an event for the ages! Starting at 5 pm they’re celebrating with 3+ hours of live music from some of your favorite local bands! This event will be FREE ENTRY to the public with food & beverages available from local biker favorite, Show Me’s! FREE motorcycle insurance quotes provided by Josh @ State Farm!Indy Parks presents the Original Music Concert Series at Broad Ripple Park. Bring a seat, your friends and family, and join us for some music in the park! The concert is free and begins at 6:30pm.Mead to Feed flower arranging class is brought to you by New Day Craft and Indy Urban Acres, a project of the Indianapolis Parks Foundation.  $1 from each drink (2-10pm) supports Indy Urban Acres. At 7pm the ideal Friday date night activity begins. Bring your boo, bae, babe, honey, or bestie and learn how to arrange flowers like a pro.

Saturday, June 23rd

Stop by Haute Life Magazine‘s booth at Baesler’s this Saturday from 11-1, meet Lori, Yvette, and the ladies from CODA, and purchase your copy of the newest Haute Life Magazine! We’ll be sharing a list of needed items for donation as well, and learn more about what CODA does for our community.This Saturday from 12-3pm is the West Summer Celebration at the Vigo County Library West Branch. Rock out with The Lemon Brothers Band and The Max Power Trio at this community summer block party with music, food, games and activities for all ages. Attendees will receive one free Kona Ice. Additional food will be available for purchase from various local food vendors. West Branch will be open for all regular services from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.Come to WaterTower Estates and get Leighed! Introducing Hawaiian BBQ and Luau! This is a NO COVER family friendly event including the amazing BBQ of Bobby-Ques as well a the Island music of Kenny Kipp + Steel Drums! The projects are a pickup truck; snow cone; popsicle; star; flag, cross or mason jar. (See illustrations on this page), All projects can be personalized with your favorite saying or name. No painting experience is necessary. You will receive step-by-step instructions on how to make your project come to life. All materials will be provided and your project will be sealed with a hanger attached so you can go right home and decorate. CIA will offer free refreshments.

Sunday, June 24th

Books & Brew in Broad Ripple is hosting their first Catan Tournament at Broad Ripple! They only have one game, so if you want to bring your own you will play with it through the tournament!

Flat12 is happy to host another romp in the beer garden for the Indianapolis Doodle Dogs group! We have a fenced in space for well-socialized dogs to play off leash after public hours. Bring the pups and enjoy some local brews on the patio. This event will be weather dependent, so please RSVP for updates. In the event of inclement weather, the date will be rescheduled.

We are now planning to have a monthly meet up!
Some important notes:
*The dogs will be allowed off leash outside, so for everyone’s safety and to make sure it’s fun for all, this event is limited to well-socialized pets who play nicely only.
*Pets must be supervised by their owners at all times.
*Flat12 is not liable for any injuries or accidents arising from the event.
*All dogs should be healthy and up-to-date on shots.
*Please cleanup after your pets with bags and receptacles provided.
