What To Do This Weekend 3.16-3.18

This weekend the green beer will be flowing, you most likely will get “pinched”, and someone will wake up next to a leprechaun. It’s St. Patrick’s Day and it finally falls on a Saturday, hallelujah!  We’ve compiled a list of St. Paddy’s festivities to partake in this weekend in Indiana & the surrounding areas, check them out below!

Friday, March 16th

Join the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce & Old National Bank for March Madness at The Copper Bar. Friday from 11am-2pm watch the “first round” play-offs with appetizers & drinks being provided.  The event is free, register HERE.

The Dance Studio of Terre Haute is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Dance Party at there studio this Friday at 7pm.

The Carmel Arts District presents a Shamrock The District tent party at Muldoon’s.

This is an event you won’t want to miss in the Carmel area.  Join Muldoon’s for a weekend of fun, food, green beer, and fabulous entertainment at Carmel’s oldest Irish Pub!The Virginia Avenue Music Festival hosted at Square Cat Vinyl will begin at 8pm. All ages are welcome to attend, cover is $5.  The March showcase will feature:

The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis is opening the Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience, and adults get a front-row seat!  The experience opens to the public on March 17th, but you can join them for an exclusive night of fun for adults only before opening day!  Lace up your best sneaks for sports fun, indoor & outdoor entertainment, dinner, drinks, and dancing!  Tickets available for the Game on Gala HERE.

Deck yourself out in your finest greens, gold, shamrocks, & plaids and join Four Day Ray Brewing in Fishers for a Firkin St. Patricks Day. They will have firkin tappings, live music, open mic, kegs and eggs, a photo booth, flights of whisky, games with prizes, & plenty of beads!  Their tent party takes place this Friday & Saturday.

Saturday, March 17thSweat before you St. Pattys Day at the Sun King Brewery. Maria Romaine will be leading a fun, music pumping, kickboxing workout for the record books.  At 9:30am you can punch, kick, and brawl before you brew for a good cause.  All proceeds go to the “Y” for all campaign.  Come wearing some green & sweat it out!

7th and Elm will be hosting a St. Pats party in Terre Haute from 7pm-10pm.  David Goodier will be performing live.  Come out and get your green beer!

Join the tradition by hitting up the only Irish bar in Terre Haute.  Celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day at Sonka’s.  There will be specialty food items, green beer, and an outside beer garden.  Live music starts at 1pm featuring traditional Irish music by Bren McPike, then at 6pm The Flying Jackson’s will play through the night.  WaterTower Estates is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Party from 12-9pm.  They will have Shamrock slushies, live music from Jake, and a pot o’gold raffle. The Zorah Shrine Nobles and Friends Event Center is bringing the number #1 KISS tribute band to the Wabash Valley! The music begins at 8pm.TGI Fridays is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Party Saturday & Sunday from 11am-3am.  $5 Zombie Dust pints are back along with $3 Jameson, & $5 Irish Car Bombs.  There will also be Bells Hopslam, so come out and celebrate the day where everybody is Irish! From 11am-12am enjoy a hoppy selection of Irish themed beers.The Georgia street Blarney Bash is back on!  This Satruday Kilroy’s Downtown Indy is hosting the biggest St. Patrick’s Day party in INDY!  There will be green beer, full bars, 32 oz lucky long island iced teas, DJs, live music, tvs, & food from Red Frazier Bison Cuisine.  Tickets are $5 in advance or $10 at the door. 

St. Patricks Elementary School is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Dueling Pianos party. Doors open for social hour at 6:30 pm with Fifi’s food truck available for purchase.  Then sing the night away from 8-11pm with dueling pianos.  Don’t forget to wear green and check out the Booster Clubs silent auction, cash bar, and all the beer you can drink!  General admission is $30 in advance, $5 at the door. The Indiana Theatre is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day party this year and it’s sure to be a smash! Doors open at 6pm so you can get some food and drinks, than claim your spot for the night of live music and dancing.  Eddie & The Motivators will be playing the best of the 60’s & 70’s from 7-9pm.  Then rock out to the 80’s with Mullet Over.  The concession stand will be open all night with pizza, nachos, and snacks.  Admission is only $5.

Sunday, March 18th

The Terre Haute Brewing Company is now serving Sunday Brunch from 10-3pm.  There will be $10 bottomless mimosas, $5 double bloody mary’s and delicious food!

At the Indiana Discount Mall in Indianapolis this Sunday is INDY TACO FEST! There will be authentic Mexican tacos , tons of booths, and affordable prices.  If you want real authentic Mexican, this is your place.  The Festival runs from 2pm to 9pm.

Ron Jeremy will be at the Terre Haute Brewing Company this Sunday from 7-9pm. Tickets can be purchased HERE.

The Copper Bar is also hosting another Sunday Brunch from 10-1pm. 

Sun King Brewery of Indianapolis is hosting a DIY Baby Milestones Chalkboard Workshop at 1pm.  You will be able to create a sign that can be updated month to month with your baby’s newest milestones.  Please note you MUST bring your own chalkboard to this event! Purchase your ticket HERE.
