A whimsical village set under a canopy of pumpkins under our Bicentennial Pavilion, Pumpkin Town is among our most popular areas, so we’ll be monitoring attendance in this area to ensure guests have space for social distancing. Kids are encouraged to wear costumes and bring a reusable bag to collect goodies along our Trick-or Treat Trail presented by WISH-TV. The Zoo opens daily at 9am, so come early to visit your favorite animals, before the ZooBoo activities begin. Plus, enjoy extra animal keeper chats and Halloween-themed activities, like the Elephant Pumpkin Smash. All guests age 3 and up are required to wear a facial covering. Costume masks and full-face makeup are only permitted for children age 12 and under, but still require an additional face covering if there is an opening around the nose or mouth. Additionally, guests are urged to take their temperatures and perform health checks on their entire party before coming to the Zoo. The Zoo is totally compliant with the most up-to-date safety guidelines from the city and the state.
