Friday, January 17th

The Randys (Lawrenceville, IL) and The Nobodies (Terre Haute, IN) will be at The Verve on January 17th.
Show starts at 9pm.

Macaron Bar in Indianapolis is offering an Intro to Macaron’s class from 6-9pm. In this 3-hour class, you’ll learn the art and science behind macarons, including our best tips and tricks for success. They’ll cover how to make the cookie shells as well as making some of our most popular filling flavors. You get to take home all of the macarons you make!

Saturday, January 18th

Dreadful Greta will be playing at Charlie’s Pub & Grub this Saturday night starting at 9pm.

Eddie & The Motivators will be playing at the Poplar Pub this Saturday at 9pm.It’s party time at Ripley’s Beach Bar and CHAIN REACTION will be leading the mayhem! Join them for all kinds o fun. Music kicks off at 9pm.

Switchyard Brewery in Bloomington is transforming the taproom into a swanky 1920s speakeasy on Saturday, January 18th!

Grab a ticket and join them from 9 PM – Midnight as The Postmodern Jazz Quartet will be on hand laying down the grooves with special guest, April Varner playing a variety of swing-era and traditional jazz standards alongside dancing and a costume contest!

All tickets include a complimentary beverage. We’ll have a bandstand of beers available and a special roaring 20s-themed cocktail on tap to keep your flappers flappin’.

Limited VIP Tables are available with complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate truffles from our friends at the Bloomington Chocolate Company, or add on a chocolate option to your order!

Saturday, January 18th at the The Pavilion at Pan Am for the 6th Annual Baconfest! Dig into bacon & pork inspired dishes from some of the best restaurants and chefs in Indy! Enjoy plenty of beer, several full bars and more! Grab an early admission ticket and get in ahead of the crowd! Or snag a VIP ticket and get in ahead of the crowd and have your own VIP area to hang in all courtesy of Woodford Reserve! This event is 21 and over.

Join Invoke Pilates as they teach a class this weekend at Sun King downtown. This class focuses on the basic pilates principles, with the assistance of small props such as rings, balls, bands, and weights for a fun and creative workout. Our open level classes are tailored to challenge a variety of fitness levels, so all are welcome!

The workout will cost $15 and all money raised will benefit Girls Inc.
Complimentary beer included in price. Please be sure to bring your own mat. Doors open at 9:15 am. Class starts at 9:30am – brewery is open after class.

Sunday, January 19th

Join Black Circle Brewing Co in Indy as John from Affordable Hi-Fi teaches the ins and outs of turntables. Turntable Education will take place at 3pm.

He will also have some items and equipment available for sale.

Tappers Arcade Bar is hosting a monthly Smash Ultimate Tournament, every 3rd Sunday! They will hold both a Singles and Doubles tournament.

Registration & Casuals will be available as early as 1:00pm
Singles Tournament starts at 4:00pm
Doubles Tournament starts at 7:00pm

Buy in for both formats is $5 a player, the cash is split:
1st place gets 60%
2nd place gets 30%
3rd place gets 10%

A purchase from Tappers of some kind is also required since we don’t take any tournament money. Players are expected to bring their own controllers for this tournament.
