What To Do This Week 6.19-6.25

Things are finally falling back into place, businesses and restaurants are slowly opening up again and we are all coming back out of our shells. I have switched up this post as events are falling throughout the week and not just the weekends. Please remember to continue to practice social distancing and wear a mask, we haven’t seen the end of this virus yet and we want everyone to stay safe and healthy!

Friday, June 19th

Boos Crossroads Cafe and Corner Grind is hosting a Shrimp Boil Carry Out. They sold out early last time and some people missed out so they are bringing it back. This will be a Carry Out ONLY event. You can place your order online before 6am Friday June 19th or by phone before 2pm on Thursday June 18th. The Shrimp Boil is served with a Garlic Cheddar Biscuit and is $13.99. Don’t forget to add a delicious homemade dessert!!

Music is back at Charlies Pub and Grub. Come watch Soupbones Blackwater Mission this Saturday from 8-11pm.

Jake Kershaw at The Verve 7p-10p

Jake Kershaw plays as a high energy power trio and often a quartet, and performs classic blues and blues with a rock edge.

At only 19 years old, Jake Kershaw, has accomplished more than some twice his age. He has had the privilege of playing with great performers such as Jonny Lang, Anthony Gomes, Larry McCray, Albert Cummings, Walter Trout, and has opened 2x for Kenny Wayne Shepherd , Tommy Castro and the Painkillers, Bernard Allison, Marcus King, Samantha Fish and Tab Benoit.This coming Thursday, Friday & Saturday is The Farm and Co. “Picnic at the Farm” weekend! The store will be open each day from 10-4pm! Joes Garage will be here All 3 days! You can either pack a lunch or purchase a yummy meal from them! Picnic baskets and quilts will be provided for you to eat on the farmhouse lawn! No purchase is necessary to have lunch to the farm! They hope you’ll come and just enjoy the countryside! Also on these days a Matilda Jane booth will be set up inside the silo! On Friday a Saturday the Barnside darlings will be set up in the Hayloft with Myra Bags available! And on Saturday District 6 Market will be here providing a Plant Bar! The Red Raccoon will be there with their mini house!

Saturday, June 20th

Kara Lovell Ceramics and the Local Vinyl are teaming up for a front yard pop up sale!
Kara will be selling her new batch of succulent planters as well as other pottery and jewelry. She will have lots of new planters as well as succulents and everything you would need to make your own succulent arrangement.
Ellie, with the Local vinyl, will have her awesome collection of records and other fun items available for sale too! Eric Schatz is joining us with his iron and wood work! He makes beautiful functional items from his shop here in Terre Haute! His items would be great father Day gifts!

The event will run from 10am-2pm at 1837 S 29th Street.The Black Cow Boutique & Vintage Blooms are hosting an outdoor mini shopping market, Saturday, June 20th from 11-3 at Vintage Blooms. Join them for a unique shopping event. The Butlers Pantry will be there providing snacks as well!Join WaterTower Estates this Saturday June 20th for their first music event of the summer! Music under the tent, your favorite wine, and good company! Joe Wright will be performing 6-9pm.
Feel free to bring a blanket and sit out on the lawn!

Live Trivia RETURNS on Monday, June 15 at 7:00 PM at Charlie’s Pub and Grub, 1608 Crawford Street, Terre Haute, IN 47807.

Get ready, because #indianatrivia and #challengeentertainment returns with a bang with #livetrivia nights and the $100,000 #nationaltrivialeague. Simply be part of our top 5 teams at Charlie’s Neighborhood Pub and Grub and you’ll be invited to our National Trivia League playoff rounds.

Reminder, please be patient as COVID-19 will limit seating. It is highly recommended that you make a reservation for Live Trivia events.

Unable to play in person due to COVID-19? You CAN still play ONLINE! That’s right, our games will continue online temporarily. The winner of the online game will take home the temporary “third place gift card.” First and second place gift cards will be presented to the in-house teams. Simply come in at any point on the day of Live Trivia, make a purchase at Charlie’s Neighborhood Pub and Grub, then post a copy of your receipt to Indiana Trivia FB messenger and you’re in!

Due to social distancing standards, our games will be entirely hands free. Teams will be welcome to use our scoresheet, however, pens/pencils and answer slips will not be provided. Answers will be communicated via cell phone or electronic device the final 20 seconds of each song. Hosts will provide new rules for gameplay on Live Trivia nights.

Wednesday, June 24th

Tommy Kelly and Steve Ellis will be playing at the Climbing Cafe 8:15pm-9:15pm.
