Oh SNAP! It’s that time of year again when some of the best and local restaurants in the Wabash Valley cut us some special deals and create unique menu’s for everyone to enjoy! Gingersnaps Coffeehouse & Cafe has been serving up hot coffee and delectable sandwiches to the Southside for the past 10 years. It is now under new ownership and we couldn’t be happier it’s sticking around.
Taste Terre Haute has been running for two weeks; July 15th – July 28th. The event will highlight a variety of restaurants in the Wabash Valley and showcase their unique offerings. Every participant will be asked to offer a “deal” aka their own “taste” to diners, whether that is a special menu, free dessert, specialty cocktail, percentage off a meal; the specials are up to each individual restaurant. Gingersnaps Coffeehouse & Cafe is a member of the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce and for Taste of Terre Haute they are offering their Chicken Salad Sandwich on a Croissant with one side for $6.50.
If you’ve never been inside the Open Door Christian Bookstore behind the mall, this cute little cafe and coffee-shop sits inside the back of the store. They also have a drive-thru and carry-out if you don’t have time to sit inside. Their menu consists of freshly made sandwiches & wraps served up with some delicious sides. They are also getting ready to roll out a partnership with Vango Icream. The cafe is open Monday-Thursday 9am-8pm and Friday & Saturday 9am-9pm.
