Event Details

Celebrate fall with spooktacular activities, amazing animals and pumpkins galore at ZooBoo presented by Central Indiana Honda Dealers! With even more magical days added, this year’s event begins Oct. 7 and continues every Wednesday through Sunday through Nov. 1.

Activities run from 2-7pm Wednesdays, Thursdays & Sundays and 2-9pm on Fridays and Saturdays. ZooBoo is free for Zoo members and included with regular admission, but capacity is limited each day so we encourage everyone to plan ahead and visit early in the season.

All members and guests are required to reserve a timed-entry ticket in advance through our website. http://bit.ly/2kthrNW Enjoy NEW hands-free activities at Pumpkin Town. Watch Professor Pumpkin’s wickedly cool science demonstrations at Pumpkin School. Visit fancy rats, snakes and other spooky creatures in Jack’s Barn presented by State Farm, or see the black cats being fostered in Bewitching Bites. A whimsical village set under a canopy of pumpkins under our Bicentennial Pavilion, Pumpkin Town is among our most popular areas, so we’ll be monitoring attendance in this area to ensure guests have space for social distancing. Kids are encouraged to wear costumes and bring a reusable bag to collect goodies along our Trick-or Treat Trail presented by WISH-TV. The trail will offer one-way traffic only and all treat stations will be spaced apart to allow for proper social distancing. N New this year, guests age 21 and older can enjoy the Adult Trick-or-Treat Trail presented by Goose Island, with beverage sampling from 5-8pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Zoo opens daily at 9am, so come early to visit your favorite animals, before the ZooBoo activities begin. Plus, enjoy extra animal keeper chats and Halloween-themed activities, like the Elephant Pumpkin Smash. All guests age 3 and up are required to wear a facial covering. Costume masks and full-face makeup are only permitted for children age 12 and under, but still require an additional face covering if there is an opening around the nose or mouth. Additionally, guests are urged to take their temperatures and perform health checks on their entire party before coming to the Zoo. The Zoo is totally compliant with the most up-to-date safety guidelines from the city and the state.
