Better days are coming.  They are called Saturday & Sunday! This weekend we’ve got plenty of events to keep you and your furry friend busy.  But let’s not forget about DAD, we’ve also got some activities you can do together to celebrate how awesome he is! Check out What To Do This Weekend below.

Friday, June 15th

Our friends at Upland Brewing Company are celebrating 20 years of crafting award-winning beers! To celebrate Tappers Arcade Bar in Indianapolis is throwing a party and asking them to pick 20 of their favorite games and they will bring them in! Game list TBD, but here’s the beer:

The event will be $15 to help raise money for our Annual Campaign, which helps benefit youth and families who cannot afford memberships throughout the year! Admission is only $5 per person, with FREE parking! Saturday, June 16th

 

It’s time for the 4th Indy Mommy Market, where you will find so much amazing handmade and curated kids and baby items from 55+ LOCAL shops. Come to the Llama Barn at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Noblesville, IN on June 16 from 9am-2pm. Bring your #momsquad and enjoy a day of local shopping, food trucks, and live music. Admission is $5 (cash only) at the door. The first 150 shoppers will receive a shopping bag full of great deals from participating vendors. Parking is FREE. Children under 12 are free.Bring your furry friend(s) and enjoy a walk on the winery trails at WaterTower Estates for Wag, Walk, & Wine!

FOR ADULTS we’ll have live music on the Main Stage all day, 30 food vendors and assorted non-food vendors, a Yuengling Beer Garden open from 3:00-9:30 p.m. featuring Yuengling and Sun King, interactive street performers, The VinoMobileBar featuring select wines, and the Southern Wine & Spirits Cocktail Tent with a host of assorted cocktails with Tito’s vodka and Cuervo tequila! Our goal is to create a fun and flavorful atmosphere for all ages!This Saturday at Fairbanks Park from 6-9pm the Terre Haute Community Band Inc. & Sinfonietta Pops Orchestra will be hosting a live Children’s Concert. Enjoy music ranging from Disney to the Beatles.  Activities start at 6pm.  There will be free books from the Vigo County Public Library, CDs free from the band, face painting, & refreshments.  Silly Safaris live animal show will begin at 7pm.  The concert begins at 8pm and children are invited to march during the concert!Feathers and Fermentation
Saturday, June 16 from 8 am – Noon

Start the morning at Ash & Elm Cider Co., complete with a cidery tour and included samples. Board the Indy Brew Bus to visit Eagle Creek Park – Indy Parks and Recreation for a two-hour birdwatching tour. Bottled water, cups, and coolers with ice will be provided on the bus. Then continue on to sample brews from Indiana City Brewing Company.

Cost is $40 per person with $20 from each ticket benefiting the Indiana Audubon. Join Wesley Homoya– a native Hoosier, avid birder, tour guide, and conservationist – as we explore nature and enjoy quality adult beverages. Wes has worked and traveled in places as varied as Maui, Brazil, Thailand, and Australia- yet some of his favorite birds still call Indiana home like he does.

Once at our birding destination, we will visit a few spots scouted beforehand to maximize viewing opportunities. For this mid-June date, we’ll be seeking some of the special species that choose to live and breed in our state each year. Please dress appropriately for weather conditions and bring binoculars. Join the November Project Indy & Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. to kick-off our Summer of Plogging Series! Meet in the Centerpoint Brewing parking lot at 10 am to head out for a 6k plog (or walk/run combo) to pick up litter on the Monon Trail.

We’ll meet back at Centerpoint Brewing’s Tap Room to celebrate with a couple of pints. Centerpoint Brewing is donating a free pint to anyone who comes back with a full bag of trash!

4th Annual Terre Haute Tomorrow Diversity Walk takes place this Saturday in downtown Terre Haute.

The Terre Haute Tomorrow initiative is a vision of growth and prosperity for the city of Terre Haute. Melvin L. Burks, CEO, Hamilton Center, chairs the committee for diversity/socioeconomics. This committee meets regularly to discuss topics involving inclusion and awareness of diversity efforts. The Diversity Walk emerged from this committee and is now going into its 4th year.Meet us at the Terre Haute Farmer’s Market, Saturday June 16th, from 8am to noon, in the Meadows parking lot, 2700 Poplar St.We are the INDIANA Brewery Running Series and we run for beer!

Join us at TwoDEEP Brewing Co. on Saturday, June 16th @ 11AM for a 5k-ish course that starts and ends at this awesome brewery! Weave through the surrounding area at whatever pace you like, no matter what there’s a beer waiting for you at the finish line!

This Sunday is the Rex Super Brothers & Parke County Night at Bob Warn Field.  Tons of activity for this game.

They will be auctioning off player worn jerseys during the game! It is also Parke County Night. Any resident of Parke County with ID will get $1.00 off any ticket.
